Our funding ticket sizes:
- Idea stage startup - Funding of INR 5 Lacs at 10% equity.
- Proof of concept/Beta stage startup - Funding of INR 25 Lacs at 10% equity.
- Revenue stage startup - Funding of INR 1 Crore at mutually agreed equity.

We led the angel investment round of AugleAI with an investment of INR 70lacs (~ 100,000 USD) at a post-money valuation of INR 8.5crores (USD 1.3 million)
What next after the Pitch Sessions?
- After pitch sessions, non-binding term sheet will be offered to the selected startups and the legal and financial due diligence will be initiated.
- Selected startups will get to pitch at Startup Jalsa - Invest Edition 2019 happening in Dharamshala on 18th-20th December, 2019.
- The deal will be offered on the spot, and startups will have to decide on the spot whether they want to accept the deal or not.
- They can negotiate the terms of the deal, and startups will have to accept the offer if made.
Does Startup Jalsa Pitch Sessions accept startups only from India?
At present, Startup Jalsa Pitch Sessions are being organised in 3 foreign countries - Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Is there any registration fee involved?
To maintain the seriousness of the event, startups will have to pay a nominal fee of INR 1000 to pitch at the Pitch Sessions.
There is no fee for the Invest edition - however the cost of logistics and subsidised stay will have to borne by the Startups themselves.
Will the data of my startup be kept confidential?
Security and privacy of your data is of utmost importance to us. We follow industry best practices to ensure data safety.
Should a startup be registered to participate in the Pitch Sessions?
Both registered and non-registered companies can pitch, however, you will have to get your startup legally registered to accept the funding.
When is the last registration date?
Startups can register a day before the Pitch Session of the specific city.
